capset.co is a marketing site. It has no accounts and no login, and the only information it asks you for is what you type into one of its three forms.

The site is static

Every page here is a file built ahead of time and served as-is. There is no database behind it and nothing on a page reads or writes anything about you. The only script on the site is a few lines that close the header’s dropdown menu when you click away from it; it stores nothing and sends nothing anywhere.

The three forms

Three pages carry a form. Each one collects the fields you can see on it and nothing else, and each posts to HubSpot — a third-party customer-relationship service that receives and stores the submission. Your answers are not stored on this site.

  • Book a demo. Name, work email, company, your role, how many properties you manage, which property types, and what prompted you to look.
  • Design partners. Name, work email, company, how many properties you manage, which property types, and which properties and equipment you are worried about.
  • Compliance. Name, work email, company, which jurisdictions your properties are in, which compliance pressures apply to you, and whether a compliance requirement has already forced a mechanical replacement.

Each form also submits one field you are not shown, named _gotcha. It is left empty by a person and filled in by automated submitters, which is how the form tells the two apart. It is hidden with CSS, so if the site’s stylesheet fails to load you will see it, labelled “Leave this field empty”.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, and no advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing here follows you between pages or between visits.

Google Fonts

Two typefaces on this site — Newsreader and IBM Plex Mono — are loaded from Google’s font service at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That means your browser makes a request to Google every time you open a page here, and Google receives that request. Those two addresses are the only third parties your browser contacts when you open a page here; HubSpot is contacted only when you submit a form.
